Learn to Ski & Believe and Ski
We feel it is part of our responsibility as the local ski team supported by our community to give back some of our resources and time each year.
Learn to Ski Program
Our annual Community Learn To Ski days bring our team members together to help children from our community learn the basic skills of skiing and the safety aspects of the sport. Using our boats equipped with training booms, special ropes and special skis, the children learn how to ski in a very controlled environment with very little frustration.
All spots are full for the 2024 event and registrations will be put on to a wait list.

Please bring a life jacket if you have one, a limited number are available.

Parents/guardians are expected to stay on site for non-swimmers and children under 10.

All parents/guardians are encouraged to stay on site.

A waiver must be signed for each participant at check-in.

Cost is $15.00 and due at check-in.

There is no make up date due to inclement weather.

Believe and Ski Program
The Shawano Ski Sharks are bringing waterskiing to those with disabilities, who may have thought it was not possible before, through adaptive skiing. Special gear called "sit skis" along with the use of side skiers are used to give people the opportunity to waterski.
